The Maritsa Industrial Zone is situated within the Plovdiv city limits. It consists of 3 sectors totaling 1,950,000 square meters. Its proximity to the "Trakia" motorway provides direct connection to the international motorways crossing the country, offering connections to Western Europe, Russia, Asia, and the Adriatic, Aegean and Black Seas.
Maritsa is 6 kilometers from the Plovdiv city center and 1.5 kilometers from the railway terminal and 20 kilometers from the airport. There is a Customs Terminal within the Industrial Zone that services all the companies there. There are plans to enlarge the zone by purchasing neighboring land.
